Epicurian Puppy

Hoss likes his food served with each type of food located separate from the others in his bowl; kibble, homemade goat milk yogurt and mush. He eats some of this and some of that, enjoying the different flavours. Our discerning gourmet puppy! Janet got quite a kick out of seeing his meal, which we delivered with Hoss for his play date with her pack. She commented 'all that was missing was some raspberry coulis drizzle on top'.

Recent Hoss Photos

Saturday morning, chewing on a bully stick and watching London on 'The Littlest Hobo'--great way to start the day! (photo taken Nov. 21, 2009)

Hoss talks to Mom and Dad a lot. Even though he doesn't speak English, he seems to get us to understand what he wants. :-) What a cute face you have, Hoss! (photo taken Nov. 30, 2009)

Too tired to get all the way on or off the bed; this will have to do. (photo taken December 6, 2009)

Today, December 11, 2009, Hoss weighs 60 pounds and is 18 weeks and 5 days old. Last week on Dec. 1, 2009, he weighed 55 pounds. At this rate, he will be a very big boy by the time he is full grown!

Hoss at 13 1/2 Weeks

Happy Hoss pose, similar to his puppy forum Avatar photo, but as he is getting older.
What a long and lanky puppy!

Ok, Mom, you can stop taking pictures of me now!

Donut Toy

Hoss loves his donut toy. He was asleep on it when I started to take this photo but, of course, woke up. :-)

Hoss Gets a Visit From Janet

Janet (Timba and Alaska's Mom for those who may not know) is now able to get around most places without her crutches, and is doing very well in recovering from knee surgery! She came to visit Hoss and we all had a nice visit and fun play time. Hoss is giving Janet a nice big slurpy kiss in the photo.

Halloween and Trick or Treaters

Hoss enjoyed meeting the kids who came to our door trick or treating on Halloween. After awhile he thought they were just coming to see him. The kids thought he was cute and enjoyed helping us socialize Hoss.

11 Weeks

Hoss discovers what a handsome boy he is in the mirror of the electric fireplace in a weekend cabin we stayed at while on a short trip recently.

Hoss at 10 Weeks

Hoss is now 10 weeks and 3 days old, and today weighs 30 pounds. He is growing fast, has very long legs and is looking like a bigger puppy. He is enjoying our daily pack walks and play sessions with his toys. He especially likes when we play with him using his new rope toy. Above are some photos taken over this past weekend.

Hoss at 8 and 9 weeks

Here are a few photos. The first two were taken today (Oct. 11), and the others during the past week. Hoss is now 9 weeks old. Both of his ears are up, and they look so cute! We wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving (Oct. 12 in Canada). We are thankful for many blessings, for family and friends, and especially for our sweet Hoss boy! This is my first ever posting on a blog, so hope it turns out ok. :-) --Janise

Almost 7 Weeks!

Hoss is still the biggest pup, although the gap is only a pound, now.
Hoss, is playful, and a real 'people' dog. If Jesse or I, sit on the floor, he is one of the first to jump in our lap and play! Ya gotta watch out for those sharp little puppy teeth!
Hoss is still a, slightly lower energy pup than most of the others, but he does have SPUNK! And will be allot of fun for his family, yet, not drive them crazy as his energy is short lived.

Here he is with his favorite sister (as usual) Tiny Teena.

5 Weeks Old

The famous pair of Hoss and Teena! Aren't they CUTE!? They are five weeks and one day old today, and they are both getting bigger by the day.

3 Weeks Old

1) Hoss on left, with brother Block Buster on right.

2) Hoss here, we're bustin' out!

16 Days Old

Eyes wide open now and looking like the most adorable bear cub you've ever met!

Hoss was the biggest pup. He also has the lightest colouration of the group. Hoss has no neck. LOL just rolls. This one might be my, couch potatoe.
